Tom Maddock has been working in the golf industry since 2019, both in club operations and coaching. He has played a variety of sports at county level as a junior – but has always had a passion for golf.
Tom has been dedicated to his golf game from the age of 12 competing for Surrey throughout his junior golf career, as well as representing his club as team captain. He then began his college career where he competed against elite amateur golfers.
After completing his studies at The Golf College and gaining a BA Hons degree in Business Management, Tom began working within golf operations in 2019. He progressed his knowledge in operations management, completing a CMAE course, before turning professional in 2021 where he began his coaching career.
Tom has gained experience of teaching methods at college, university and club level including the use of TrackMan and 3D biomechanics. This knowledge has allowed him to develop his coaching abilities to adapt to varying handicaps.
